'The Gates' Artist Christo Announces New Project Amid Controversy

Artist Christo, responsible for wrapping fabric around the Pont Neuf bridge, several islands in the Caribbean, and the recent 'The Gates' in New York's Central Park, today announced at a news conference his next planned installation.

The announcement was made amid controversy surrounding the financing of 'The Gates'. According to police spokesman John Pollard, New York police have begun an investigation to discover "how the hell he got 25 million bucks together to build all this crap?"

Speculation has swirled around the installation since its opening. "What the f**k is this? Twenty five freakin million dollars? What the f**k?" said a park goer, who refused to identify himself.

"The department doesn't believe this can be legitimate," said Pollard, "It seems to be some kind of money laundering operation, or fabric-buying scam, or... something. The mob has got be involved somehow. Don't they?"

In response to Christo's announcement of his new project, media reports were mostly silent, as no one really cares or, frankly, can remember what the hell he was talking about. Fabric, color, space, shape. I don't know. Whatever.
